This designed tin goes beyond its role as a pomade container, capturing memories and a unique worldview. The special texture of unevenness and shadows created by the embossing gives it a presence that cannot be expressed on canvas, and the design makes it something you can enjoy for years, even after the pomade is finished, as a small object holder, much like an old-fashioned designed tin. It has stronger hold than the original pomade and a texture that is easier to work with than hard pomade. TAGUCHI SATORU profile: Born and raised in Yokohama in 1975, he was deeply influenced by skateboard art culture at a young age. In 2000, he formed the skate team METROPIA and studied clothing design. He is currently mainly a designer for CHALLENGER and tours the exhibition “BANDANALYZE,” a show of original bandana drawings he has created since the start of the brand, both nationally and internationally.
